The network currently holds 100 research leads, 6 connected demo people and 7 mapped relationships.
What this is
A frontend prototype for a family network built around the Tokmakov surname. It has no backend: all data is local mock data and every interaction is client-side.
Research leads are not relatives
The directory holds 100 records gathered from public web sources. They share a surname and nothing more. None of them is attached to the family tree, and a shared name, region or occupation is never treated as evidence of kinship.
Verification
Relationships carry one of two states. Verified means a documented source or a claimed member confirmed it. Source-asserted means something suggests it but it has not been confirmed, and it is drawn as a dashed line so the difference is visible at a glance.
Privacy
Only broad, already-public details are shown: a general location, a field of work, a public summary and a citation. There are no street addresses, contact details or scraped photographs. Profiles of people who are likely living and unverified are excluded from search engines.
Images
Every image in the feed and on the home page is synthetic and clearly labelled as demo content. People in the directory are represented by monograms, never by a photograph taken from a source.
Removal
In a live version, any person listed as a research lead could request removal and the record would be taken down without needing to justify the request.
